SSC member, RoseTherese Huelsman, IHM, recently participated in a national training for Catholic Climate Ambassadors. The Ambassador’s role is to increase awareness in the Catholic community about the teaching of the church on environmental issues and climate change, based on sacred scripture and documents by popes and the U.S. Catholic Bishops. In addition, Ambassadors promote the St. Francis Pledge as a key tool for living God’s call to care for creation and the poor. Go to www.catholicclimatecovenant.org for more information.
